Produced during a university fashion textile rotation, this work marks the earliest origin of the studio's investigation into spontaneous material behaviour. The composition emerged from an intuitive screen-printing experiment, pulling a mixture of salvaged textile pigments directly across the frame. By incorporating heat-reactive medium remnants that expand under thermal exposure, the canvas embraces an accidental, tactile topography. This early exercise in unexpected upcycling documents a clear shift away from structured textile design toward the uninhibited material textures that underpin the contemporary portfolio.
